Close up Look!:
The mouse is really easy to color with the blender pen the trick is to not go to heavy to start and not to go back over the same area until it is dried. I made this mistake over and over until I got the hang of it. I know shocking right! LOL

Today’s card is part of the Paper Craft Crews weekly sketch challenge. Here’s the sketch for this weeks challenge.
And here’s my card. I went with a simple one layer card, well pretty much one layer.
This is another sneak peek at some of the new products available on September 1st in the new Holiday catalog. I’m telling you that you will love this catalog. There are so many great things in it. It’s amazing.
I found my inspiration for the color combination came about because I started thinking about how fall feels to me and how much I love the colors of the leaves changing colors. You can find color inspiration all around if you just stop and really look around. Here are the colors I picked for this card.
I added to my color combination in the embellishment I picked. I went with the smallest leaf from the vintage leaves stamp set(which I borrowed from a friend just to get this element.)
This was the finishing touch for me. The gold baker’s twine paired with the leaf just took it over the top. I finished off the card before this with some gorgeous grunge stamping. I ended the card with my sentiment from the Thoughtful Banners Stamp set. It just finished the card off perfectly. I am so excited that you joined me today for today’s card challenge, I hope that you will play along with us in this weeks challenge. Make sure you head over to the Paper Craft Crews website and play along.

Today’s card is for the Paper Craft Crews weekly challenge. Each week each member of the design team comes up with a wonderful card to go along with that weeks sketch challenge. Here’s the sketch for this week and my card follows.
I used one of the new stamp sets from the upcoming Holiday catalog that will be available to customers September 1st. As a demonstrator we get to order a month before everyone else so that we can come up with new designs and cards to create classes and share with everyone. If you would like to join my team and have the ability to order before everyone else being s demo is the way to do it. Contact me for more details. I would love to have you on my team.
The stamp set I picked is called Basket of Wishes and is a wonderful set for any occasion during the fall. It can be used for birthdays get wells warm wishes as well as showing thanks. It is a must have set and I m so glad I ordered it.
Here’s a close up of the details in my card. That way you can see the wonderful stamped image in the set.
I used Dapper denim early espresso copper and very vanilla as my color pallet. I picked most of them from the DSP (Designer Series Paper) that I used. Which was the Moroccan DSP. I wanted to pair things from the annual catalog with new items.
I stamped my image in versamark and put copper embossing powder on it. At that point it was time to bring out the heat gun and emboss it. The basket and the pumpkins are both separate stamps so that they can be interchangeable with the other baskets or items in the stamp set which adds to the versatility of the set. I painted one of our white buttons with a little copper paint to tie everything in. The washi tape is also part of the Moroccan suite from the annual catalog. Along with the Moroccan Designer Series washi, the copper foiled dotted washi is from the Affectionately Yours Designer Series washi; I needed just a little bit more copper to balance everything out.
Make sure to pop over to the Paper Craft Crews website and join this weeks challenge I know that you will have a blast. The design team always does, we would love to have you join us in a challenge. Thanks for dropping bye. See you again soon.
Don’t forget about these great promotions going on right now.
Hey everyone thanks for joining me today on my blog. Today I am a guest hopper on the OSAT Blog Hoppers blog hop themed Dogs Day of Summer. I am super excited to be joining this talented group of hoppers today. So do you want to see my card today, well actually I have a card and a box for you.
Isn’t it just the cutest thing. I adore dogs, well any animal, if we are going to be honest with each other. Okay let’s talk a little about my card today. To create this card I used bits and pieces of different stamp sets, punches and framelits. The stamp sets I used were; the Weather Together, Project Life Date It, and Brushwork Alphabets. Okay so lets really talk about what I know you all have on your minds. How did you make those cute little dogs. Well I actually used the new fox builder punch and the owl builder punch. I punched all the pieces a few times and kind of moved them around. The dog on the card reminded me of my sweet Seymour that passed a month or so back. I miss my basset so very much he was the sweetest dog ever, but I digress. I used two different color tails to create his ears and the sag of his cheeks were created with the fox face cut out just turned upside down.
I wanted him to be covered from the sun (which is one of the smallest scalloped circles in the layering circle framelits), it just made such a nice sun. So I stamped and cut out the umbrella using the weather together bundle. I wanted to contrast the Marina Mist cardstock with something that would show up nicely but not over power. So I went with Tangerine Tango. All the paper I used for the items on the card came out of my scrap bins, which was really nice to try and use some of them up.
The box was created with an 8 1/2 x 8 3/4 inch piece of marina mist card stock. This is a real easy box to make. It’s so easy its scary. All you have to do is score it on the longest side at 2, 4, 6, & 8 then flip it and score it at 2″ on each side. The finale box measures 4 1/2″ x 2″x 2″. Which is a descent size box you can fill with a lot of goodies. To decoarte the box I started with some torn and sponged crumb cake cardstock to form the sand dunes, next I created the dogs the same way I did on my card just using punched pieces from the bird and fox builder punches.
I hope that you enjoyed my projects today and that you will follow along the hop and check out what everyone else has created for you today. To hop along with us all you have to do is click on the next name on the list after mine and go down the list or start at the top and hop all the way through. Have a wonderful day happy hopping.
Hello everyone thanks for joining us today for another Paper Craft Crew Card Challenge. Today’s challenge is all about Designer Series Paper (DSP). You can use DSP in so many different ways, it’s amazing. Here’s my card that I designed for today’s challenge.
My card today is called a Maze card, because it’s exactly that you have to unfold the card until you get to the message. The DSP guides you on your way to the message. Here’s a look at the theme for this weeks challenge.
I came up with this technique a few weeks back, basically to use up some 12×12 DSP that I had. You will need a sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock and you are going to score it every 4 each so on the simply score you will score it at 4, & 8 and then turn it and do it again on the other side, giving you 12 squares. Next you are going to cut up one side and when you get two blocks turn and cut turn and cut in the pattern you want it to open. once everything is cut you will fold it and bone fold everything so that it’s nice and flat. At this point you add your dsp cut at your desired size. Create your maze anyway you would like. I like to stamp some images in between the dsp layers for added interest. Here is another example of a maze card.
I hope that we have inspired you to break out that dsp and start using it. Thanks for dropping by today and don’t forget to join in on the fun over at the Paper Craft Crew’s website. We would love to have you join in on the card challenges.
